Saturday, June 30, Club Potluck Picnic, 2:00 pm, Spring Lake Park, Santa Rosa, Upper Jackrabbit Picnic Area

Join us for the club’s summer picnic at Spring Lake Park in Santa Rosa. Pot luck picnic will start around 2:00 at the Upper Jackrabbit Picnic Area. We’ll have an organized road ride and hike. While we don’t have a leader for a mountain ride, there is good mountain riding at Annadel State Park which is adjacent to Spring Lake Park. Come for the rides or hike or just come for the picnic. Bring a dish to share. The club will provide non-alcoholic beverages, paper products, charcoal, etc. You may bring your own alcoholic beverages. The picnic area includes a BBQ so you may bring items to grill if you wish. See ride and hike descriptions below. Spring Lake Park also has a swimming lagoon and a lake where you can rent canoes and paddleboats. You may bring your own boat, although no gas-powered boats are allowed. There is a $6 charge per car for entrance to the park (carpooling is encouraged) - the Club will reimburse MEMBERS if they so desire.

Directions: Hwy 101 north to Santa Rosa. Exit Hwy 12 east, go straight onto Hoen Ave. at Farmers Lane (Hwy 12 turns left at this point). Cross Summerfield Road (stop light) and turn left at stop sign at Newanga Ave. to park entrance. Just past the entrance turn left and follow the road and signs to Upper Jackrabbit Picnic Area. There are a number of parking places near the picnic site. Jeanne Bush (707) 939-2912; cell (707) 529-8550
